Our non-fiction book club! We are discussing two books: “The Old Leather Man: Historical Accounts of a CT and NY Legend” and “Hidden History of Connecticut”. Copies available!

The CT State Library and Gov. Ned Lamont created the Everyone Learns Library Grant that was offered to 61 CT libraries and JCCL was one of the lucky to be chosen.
Library staff noticed how many people were sitting in their cars last summer using the WIFI and wanted to create a comfortable space for everyone to use the high-speed internet we had installed.
Other Grant improvements inside the library have been completed. Stop in and check them out!
Visitors can enjoy a reading a book, working on the internet or just enjoy the beautiful gardens this year at the Janet Carlson Calvert Library. A picnic table and completed flooring due this June.
